We go one for one with our most embarrassing model railroading builds and attempts at new techniques. Brett & Todd exchange their biggest flubs and most embarrassing model builts/experiments with new model railroading techniques. From good to bad, we always learn from our mistakes and even though you might mess up from time-to-time, you need to take it as a learning experience and laugh about it. This will make you a better modeler and will quickly humble yourself about your builds and honing in your skills. We also go over painting detail parts and announce our model contest!

This time though Brett is doing most of the kits and Todd is doing the scratch built buildings! Odd right?!?! haha! We also talk a little about a local show that we visited and how impressed we were with the turnout as well as the interaction with the attendees as they were offered the opportunity to build some craftsman kits right there at the show, FOR FREE! We also go over the usual tools and detail parts of the week for some more fun and helpful tips.

This week we talk about some of the scratch building methods we use when we are creating some of our unique to us and prototype buildings. We also go over the new and fresh restart for our basement layout. And as usual, we talk about the different tools that we love, some detail parts and the music we're currently listening to. If you're looking for the link to the tool of the week, you can get it here: SE MZ101B Helping Hand with Magnifying Glass. This thing is what Brett uses for painting small parts and it's like $8. Totally worth it.
